TIPS FOR USERS:
- Unfortunately Windows 8 makes it annoying to open apps as administrator — but it’s not too difficult. Just search for Notepad, then right-click on Notepad in the search results list, and choose to run it as administrator.
- Write down, or save a text file of the serial you use. I had to uninstall and reinstall everything. Lesson learned.
- in XFORCE, remove ALL the characters, verbiage, before pasting anything into it. It drove me crazy. I figured out that it wasn't pasting OVER the text in there, so I had to delete the text first.
Update: I can't get Acrobat to install. I've even tried after the fact.
Also, the updates server is either not working-I even have a notification saying that there are 2 updates available. When I open the Adobe Manager is says it cannot connect to the server.
