This is a Linux based (Xubuntu) virtual machine appliance dedicated to anonymous browsing. It uses XFCE so that it uses less resources when loading a GUI when compared to KDE and GNOME. The traffic is routed through Privoxy, a content filter proxy, as well as Tor, an onion router network used for (along with other things) anonymous surfing. The appliance is configured so that no data is permanently saved on the virtual disk when the appliance is shut down.
