Some sources include him in a the called neomannerism style. He began studying architecture, a discipline that has continued to influence his paintings although he dropped out to paint. In 1968 he moved to Madrid, where in the 1980s was considered an integral part of the so-called "Movida Madrileña". The painting used for the cover of the compilation has the original name of "People coming out of a rock concert" and though disfigured featuring characters of the "Movida Madrileña", himself is included.
