Aubrey Drake Graham [born October 24th 1986 in Toronto, Ontario] is a Canadian actor and recording artist. He originally became known for playing Jimmy Brooks, the basketball star that became physically disabled after he was shot by a classmate on Degrassi: The Next Generation. As a rapper, he performs under the mononym Drake. His first studio album, 'Thank Me Later', is expected to be released in late 2009.



'Best I Ever Had' is the first single from Canadian rapper Drake's third mixtape, 'So Far Gone'. The song has a remix, which features Busta Rhymes, Young Money artist Nicki Minaj, Tank and Teairra Mari. The song samples 'Fallin' in Love' by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds and Lil Wayne's 'That My N**ga'. The song debuted at No.92 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. and has so far peaked at No.3, making Drake the third Canadian rapper to have a song chart on the Hot 100. The single has since risen to No.1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs due to high airplay and downloads. The video, directed by Kanye West, was shot in Brooklyn, New York at Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School. Trey Songz, Fabolous, Consequence, and the song's producer Boi-1da make cameo appearances in the video, as well as artists signed to Young Money Entertainment, such as Lil Twist and Lil Chuckee. The storyline of the video tells of a male basketball coach and his relationship with the female team he coaches.
