I just listened to this file with BS Player. I'm impressed - BS Player - better sound, detects surround sound automatically, and for movies finds subtitles automatically and displays 2 subtitles. Wow! Now if it only the player would show me what sound format is playing, like payware PowerDVD does, or show 5.1 or Dolby options like VLC (on manual audio menu).

The surround sound is great, but with a few stutters I'll overlook.

This is a thumbs up file because I DIDN'T FIND ANOTHER. I entered a thumbs down rating for this file BEFORE the thought to change the .wav file extension to .dts popped into my head by some wild chance of luck. \n

Depending on your player's DTS codecs and capabilities, this DTS file (and other FLAC files) played best for me in BS Player and Media Player Classic - played on a high performance (2011) quad Intel processor PC, with a few stutters throughout. And some distortion on the Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters song.\n

When using my Windows Media Player and VLC, the sound was distorted on most songs, so try different players, or updated codecs if the sound is bad.

Change the file extension from .wav to .dts, after downloading and it plays - GREAT!

Not a fake, but it seems like it.\n

Before you change the extension, the file is a 48 minute .wav file that sounds like white noise.
