IR8 / Sexoturica

IR8 / Sexoturica is a compilation album by IR8 and Sexoturica. This album, released in 2002, includes two demos which were recorded in 1994 and 1995. Sexoturica stands for Sepultura Exodus Metallica.

In October 1994, Metallica bassist Jason Newsted joined forces with 22 year-old guitarist Devin Townsend of Strapping Young Lad and Bay Area metal drummer Tom Hunting of Exodus to form the IR8 project.

In March 1995, Newsted and Hunting invited metal guitarist Andreas Kisser of Sepultura into the fold.
