That the city of Rio de Janeiro is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, this is nothing new. After all, besides its unique geography, its natural beauty, its beautiful people, cheerful and where music always inspired by songs. It is an extremely musical city and one of the most cultural of our country. In 2010, an unprecedented project in video (with high definition) on Blu Ray and DVD formats was launched, a partnership between Helinews company, Commander Ricardo Malagutti (who conceived and executed the project on your own helicopter), the Manufacturing of Music renowned music producer Max Pierre, and EMI Music, showing in aerial images, which the city of Rio has to offer, and several other important cities of the State of Rio de Janeiro. And, to make possible the idea, was found in a conversation between Malagutti and Max Pierre, the need for creating unique musical themes to give unity and style to the project.

It was then that invited the guitarist, composer and producer Ricardo Silveira and pianist and keyboardist Richard the Lion (perfect interpretations), so that together we take care of the original soundtrack of "Rio in HD." That was simply wonderful and magically complemented the beautiful images that have been carefully collected and edited. All themes are original, except the opening theme, "Aquarela do Brazil" (Ary Barroso), performed by the duo Silveira and Leon, with the company of Jesse Zadok musicians on trumpet and flugelhorn, Marcelo Martins on tenor sax and flute and Zé Canuto on alto sax and flute. Thus, the musical choices widened, and we can see and especially hear very inspired compositions with clear influences of bossa nova, jazz, choro and New Age music, with the best of instrumental music.

A real journey in images and sound timbres. You will be able to check the HD resolution of Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf, the beaches and neighborhoods of Ipanema, Leblon, Copacabana, the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, São Conrado, Barra da Tijuca, Recreio and also Big Island, Buzios Cabo Frio, Saquarema, Angra dos Reis, Petropolis and Teresopolis. The soundtrack is a true and inspired declaration of love to the region that everyone involved chose to live. And leaves us with a very strong desire to go to those places running, or rather flying.

A beautiful initiative of the helicopter pilot Ricardo Malagutti, which has in its curriculum several major news coverage, corporate videos for large companies, to the cinema and to the main novels of Rede Globo and its partner Max Pierre, music producer of large luggage in music industry and who led the musical projects of the main Brazilian artists, reaching the milestone of over sixty million copies in the productions in which he participated. He could not go wrong and, luckily, the duo already thinking about other projects. Let's wait. Meanwhile, we can only fly and travel in his inspired soundtrack.
