Faina works as investigative officer and lives alone in a messy, rented flat. The only her company is a bottle of cognac under her bed. Faina doesn't understand cause of suicide and tragedy of loving people, who can't live without each other because she herself has never loved anyone. Once, from her acquaintance professor, she found out means, which he invented to meet with his dead beloved, and decided to try it on herself.
