Description

Recorded using a Linn Sondek LP12 with an Naim Armageddon supply and a PS Audio mains regenerator renerating a higher frequency mains allowing the LP12 to run at 45 rpm. Tonearm is Naim Aro, cartridge Lyra Helikon SL into a Naim Prefix-K powered by a dedicated Naim Supercap. The output from the Naim 552 preamp was sent to a Yamaha CD-recorder. Compare some of these tracks with the same EPs recorded using the identical Helikon SL cartridge, but on a 'mystery' turntable into a $15,000 custom tube phono stage. I know which one I prefer......
