Originally on the Mainstream label, the source for this rip is a re-issue by the Musical Heritage Society [MHS]

This album is something of a rarity. There are no fireworks here; just smooth guitar picking by 2 of the best ever, flavored with the always musical work of tenor man Zoot Sims. There is no piano which is rather odd for a jazz quintet, but that would have to include Django's Quintet of the Hot Club of France. Odd may not be the best word.
