Ricky Dean Zehringer; aka Rick Derringer (1947- )

The 1979 LP: GUITARS AND WOMEN was re-released in 1998. This is a vinyl rip of the original 1979 vinyl using a Bang and Olufsen MMCII cartridge. It sure beats the heck out of the Ortofon I had used for years. The Ortofon was nice because I could easily swap out the stylus to play dirty worn records.

Derringer co-produced the album with Todd Rundgren, whose influence is audible throughout. UTOPIA members Rundgren, Roger Powell, and Kasim Sulton also contribute.

Of Derringers appx 14 albums this was the 3rd.
