This is the US promo 12" (ZE/Island DMD 352), ripped to 16/48 FLAC in January 2014.

This is highly danceable boogie with a really fat synth bass line. It also a bit of underground/leftfield/hybrid/mutant disco flavor, as you would expect of anything associated with the New York-based ZE Records label, home of Kid Creole & The Coconuts, Material, and Was (Not Was).

Atkinson is the lead singer of Was (Not Was), and they produced this, so it's basically a Was (Not Was) track. They weren't messing around, either...very high production value on this.
