This is the 1984 European 12" (Polydor 881 179-1), ripped to 16/44.1 FLAC in January 2014.

For a few years in the mid-'80s, Lime was Canada's Hi-NRG synth-dance juggernaut, scoring many hits in the European club scene. Some of their biggest hits bear more than a passing resemblance to Italo Disco, by design. "I Don't Wanna Lose You" is one of my favorite tracks in that realm, and once it gets in my head, it never leaves. "The Party's Over" is a "sleaze" cut which for some reason reminds me of Pet Shop Boys and The Phantom of the Opera.
