Timothy Washington, born in DC's ghetto, basically finds himself on his own from the age of 12 after nearly being killed by his mother's boyfriend at a very young age. He turns to crime for survival. At age 18 he's sentenced to 12 years in the infamous Lorton prison complex. His high school sweet heart Tiara leaves him and he finds himself overwhelmed by Dahlia, who he'd been ignoring. While in prison, Nick, an old school bank robber, teaches him the game.
Timothy Washington, AKA Goon, hustles, robs, and fights his way through Lorton until his untimely release. He starts robbing banks, buys a car lot and plans on entering the world of legit business. But he gets addicted to robbing banks. Tiara reappears and seduces Goon back into her life. Someone begins threatening Dahlia, attempting to blackmail Goon through her, sending her pictures of Goon robbing banks.
Goon, now living in the suburbs, calling legitimate shots, and stacking serious paper, realizes something has to give. He must cure his addiction somehow, choose between Dahlia and Tiara, and locate his insane extortionist, before everything he's worked so hard for vanishes.
