I have recatalogued all the jpg file naming conventions, (within the cbr files themselves), and standardised the format to JPG only, as well as making sure all the jpg file sizes are approx 400Mb each scan, for continuity.

2000AD & JUDGE DREDD Annuals died a death after the financial catastrophe of the utter failure JUDGE DREDD movie (1995), It was such a flop that all extra funding was pulled from the 2000AD group and this killed off the Specials, Poster Progs and Annuals. This effectively ended the 'Golden Age' of 2000AD as the backing group were not willing to promote what they considered to be a dead duck. Fleetway only saw the group as holding multiple licenses for potential film release - & saw no future in the paper comic side of the group.

It took a further half-decade for 2000AD to recover from the failure of the '95 Dredd Movie. The group was bought from Fleetway by Rebellion, and from Y-2000 we see the format changed to the current format of 49 progs per year, a single Xmas Special issue, and a monthly Megazine. The advent of digital comics and faster colouring has also seen IDW come on the scene as a major player, and the future now looks good for DREDD fans.
