TRAMA:

L’agente dei Servizi Segreti Ethan Runner, vicino ai 60 anni, a causa di una malattia terminale scopre che gli sono rimasti solo pochi mesi di vita, così decide di ritirarsi dal lavoro per rimediare ai propri errori e recuperare il suo rapporto con la famiglia, troncato nella necessità di proteggerla dai pericoli del mestiere. Ma un agente segreto gli offre accesso a un'ultima missione: catturare un terrorista internazionale in cambio di una droga sperimentale che potrebbe guarirlo. Di fronte a una simile e miracolosa occasione di guarire dalla sua malattia, Ethan è costretto ad accettare. Ma alle complicazioni più che mai ovvie dell'incarico assegnato si addizionano le comuni seccature del genitore medio, continuamente assediato dai problemi nel gestire i figli adolescenti.

STORYLINE:

A dangerous international spy is determined to give up his high stakes life to finally build a closer relationship with his estranged wife and daughter, whom he's previously kept at arm's length to keep out of danger. But first, he must complete one last mission - even if it means juggling the two toughest assignments yet: hunting down the world's most ruthless terrorist and looking after his teenage daughter for the first time in ten years, while his wife is out of town.
