yes for now looks like they're gone, sadly. Dolby Digital is 6 channel audio, Dolby Pro Logic is 2 channel surround, meaning that the original 6 channels are downmixed, folded and encoded in 2 channels. when then a DPL track is played on a 6ch system it gets unfolded and plays correctly on all the 6 channels and has less channel separation compared to Dolby Digital. in my case then the 2ch track is also louder so it sounds fine on mobile devices like tablets etc.
