Plot summary


Bangkok, the present day. Sunset Airlines flight SA 407 to Phuket, a 75-minute evening
flight, takes off with a handful of passengers on board. They include henpecked husband
Jamras(Paramej Noiam), his naggy wife Phen(Ancharee Hasadeevijit), who works in real
estate, and their teenage daughter Gift(Patcharee Tubthong), who is due to study in the
UK but really dreams of being an airline pilot; Ann(Sisangien Sihalath), a young woman
from Hong Kong who is learning Thai; the dreadlocked Wave(Namo Tonggamnerd), who starts
chatting her up; an old woman who is scared of flying and has a weak heart; a monk who
is trying to suppress his fantasies about women; and a western sex tourist. Chief
stewardess is New(Marsha Vadhanapanich), on her first flight in a decade. After
discovering a strange object in the hold, ground engineer Bank(Peter Knight) becomes
locked inside the plane when it takes off. The flight soon runs into turbulence. The sex
tourist has a seizure during which his head rotates 360º, and Wave has his face scratched
by a ghostly presence in the toilet. Bank is rescued from the hold by co-pilot Man, and
both separately see spirits there. As the haunting starts with a vengeance, the ghosts
take command of the plane and the passengers are forced to use oxygen masks when the
air system shuts off. New realises she is on the same plane on which she had a
traumatic experience 10 years earlier.
