This is for those who tried using 4gb mod with Fallout: New Vegas and experienced this error:
''Original Exe Modified > Executable Headers failed to validate. An unmodified original exe is required. You should get Steam to validate your game cache and download unmodified versions of any files.'' All you have to do is run a checksum app on your FalloutNV.exe and FalloutNVLauncher.exe 1. Download PEChecksum.exe or PEChecksum64.exe (64bit) either from my torrent or from softpedia, just google: PEChecksum and take the 1st link 2. Copy either 32 or 64 bit version to your Fallout: New Vegas directory (where FalloutNV.exe is located) 3. Drag and drop FalloutNV.exe over PEChecksum.exe, if windows asks, allow it to modify the file 4. Drag and drop FalloutNVLauncher.exe over PEChecksum, just like step 3. 5. That's it! Now you should be able to launch the game using FNV4gb.exe (4gb patch) and no longer get a steam error Sharing WidgetTrailer |
