I have some instructions of my own that worked for me.

1. delete old 7 days to die install.
2. regedit and delete fun pimps entry under current user/software
3. extract 7zip file.
4 edit SmartSteamEmu.ini
4a. find the line PersonaName = and create a unique name for yourself
4b. find the line SteamIdGeneration = Random and change it to Manual
4c. find the line ;ManualSteamId = 0 and remove the ; from in front
4d. on that same line change the 0 to a unique 17 digit pin. it can be any number as long as its different from all other players you plan to lan with.
5. run smartsteamloader.exe
6. if playing lan have fun if playing over the internet that you will need to port see the video posted above for further instruction
