Using just a Boss SP-202 sampler and a Mackie mixing board, Jason hand-created instrumentals from classic 80's tracks for Pic to rhyme his social-political commentary. Snippets from iconic movies & television shows from the 1980's were chosen to segue from song to song. Listen and see if you can catch your favorites. Guests include Lumis James, Bella Lovestone, and illadapted. Recorded in a garage in Santa Monica, California, from Fall 2005 to the Summer of 2006. This is an authentic underground production. Some of the tracks sound polished and very clean, while others are good, but grainy. But the message is clear, the 80s offered up some of the best music, film and t.v. ever!
