Conceived by composer Leif Inge (www.læyf.com), 9 Beet Stretch is a recording of Beethoven's 9th Symphony stretched to 24 hours in length, with software that slows down sound recordings without distorting the pitch. (Inge used Snd or the Common Lisp Music software. Other applications, such as Paulstretch, also exist.) It has been presented live in various locations throughout the world and can be also heard on a 24 hour, 7 day a week webcast. Unless you have the opportunity to hear it live, your only other option has been the webcast with mp3 quality sound… until now. I, the uploader of this torrent, have created my own lossless version in CD quality FLAC files. I used a different recording of Beethoven's 9th from Inge. His is the Naxos recording by Bela Drahos and the Nicolaus Esterhazy Sinfonia. Mine shall remain unnamed. I have split the recording into 24 1 hour tracks.
