Acorn User magazine (BBC/Acorn) 1982-2003 Complete OCR'd PDFs /// RetroPDFs

Acorn User Magazine Issues 1-267 (June 1982 - Xmas 2003)

Acorn User was a magazine dedicated to the Acorn range of personal
computers - the BBC Micro, Acorn Electron, and latterly the Archimedes
and other RISC-based machines. It was published by a number of different
sources, changing hands every few years. It lasted an impressive 21
years, reflecting the passion that many Acorn users had for their
machines, before the then publisher Tau Press sold the title on to
Finnybank. Although the intention was to continue, it appears that no
further issues of Acorn User were printed.

These PDFs are complied collections of page scans obtained from
various Internet sources. They've been OCR'd to allow text
searching and copying - this should prove very useful for the retro
archivist who'd like to have their own local searchable archive. They
should look great on most PDF readers.

The OCR software has done its best, but has struggled with some of the
more unusual fonts and layouts used, and where the background image
obscures the text. My primary goal in OCRing is to aid searching -
everything else is a bonus! The page numbering is also a bit odd in
some early issues.
