Files are a mixture of .avi and .mp4 - all are the best quality that I could find and all play back easily in VLC.

As Curtis' signature style relies on a huge part of archive material, the quality is always going to seem a bit lo-fi, but also considering how hard to find some of these films are, the compromise isn't even worth taking into consideration really.

The ONLY missing film is his most recent 'Bitter Lake' which was until recently available on the BBC iPlayer. I will try my best to get hold of this and make it available if I can.

I haven't heard of him before. I can't really tell from the titles what his documentaries are about. Does he have a specific subject for his movies or are they all different?

He's quoted as saying that his films are generally about "power and how it works in society', though each film has a different subject matter they all definitely work as a whole. HIs technique and editing style is very distinctive - using almost total archive material to cut with (hence them being hard to find due to licensing etc).

Anyway, download and watch a few and see what you think ; )
