Adobe Universal Patcher

After several frustrating and failed attempts to override the TRIAL mode after installing various torrent copies of Adobe After Effects CC 2012, 2013 and 2014, because 9 out of 10 times the files come with faulty install notes, I finally found a patch that actually WORKS.

Sorry I forgot to add the below steps in the file's folder.

Steps (do it after you already installed your AE CC copy and started it in trial mode. Make sure your internet still turned off):

1. Copy Adobe Universal Patcher.exe into the folder C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe After Effects CC 2014Support Files,

2. Right click and run as administrator,

3. Make sure that "Adobe AE CC (64-bit)" is selected in PATCH and "amtilib.dll" shows up in TARGET,



4. Hit "Patch" and wait until it finishes. If the patcher doesn't find "amtilib.dll" it will pop up a window asking you to pinpoint it,

5. Done.



**** Btw I did NOT update offline before patching my copy and it's working flawlessly. Just saying.

Now after you patched your AE CC copy, I suggest you set your firewall to block all the update crapware that runs in the background while AE is open, and disable Adobe updater to prevent it from starting up with Windows (msconfig):
