The system requirements for running Advanced Installer are:

The following software must be installed on your system in order
for Advanced Installer to run correctly:

Latest Windows Platform SDK

(optional, required only to build certain types of packages)

Generated Install Packages

The MSI or EXE install files that Advanced Installer produces

run on the following operating systems:

Windows XP SP3/Vista/7/8/10

Windows 2008/2012 Server

To create installers that run on Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000
please download and use Advanced Installer 10.3.

To build installers on a development machine running Windows XP SP3
please download and use Advanced Installer 12.0. Support for XP SP3
is no longer available for newer versions of Advanced Installer.

Install packages use the Windows Installer 2.0 (or higher)

installation engine. The engine ships with the latest

Microsoft operating systems, service packs, updates and applications.

It can also be included in EXE packages as a prerequisite.

Advanced Installer for Java has the ability to create install bundles
