Adventures of Prince Achmed

One of the first feature-length animated films, and oldest to have survived, this "silhouette" animation of Arabian Nights tales was created by Lotte Reinger. The film took three years to make in a home studio and was released in 1926. The design work is brilliant and visuals, all created with hand-cut figures, are amazing.
