Somewhere near the end of ABBA's decade long run, Anni-Frid became Frida. It neither affected her wonderful singing nor the group's name. This album features solo songs by the ladies of ABBA, Angetha and Anni-Frid (or Frida if you prefer). The tracks are presented with Agnetha and Frida in alternating songs beginning and ending with Agnetha.

They are all good but somehow lack a little of the quality as when they sang together. As some have already noted, Agnetha's solos are of the slow variety with two exceptions: "I Won't Let You Go", which I feel is the best track on this album, and "The Heat Is On" with a calypso flavor, are more up tempo than her other tracks. Even so, her soprano voice is a pleasure to listen to.

As for Frida, I always thought her songs with ABBA generated a few more goose bumps than when Agnetha sang solo with Frida providing some backup. This album clearly shows the reason why. Her solo performances on this album are great.
As history has shown, neither had the same strong career as when they were together as ABBA. But this album displays their individual solo talents and is well worth having.
