i had no issues running the game, thank you uploader.
the game its self? well, it's another craptacular pege12 release. The game recognizes my generic gamepad controller, but the game seems to be overly sensitive even at the lowest sensitivity setting and it's rather hard to fine tune one's flight path so shooting enemy units is rather hard, with not much visual feedback if hits were successful or not. there was a lack of plane roll controls in the arcade mode(i didn't try simulation mode) and a lack of yaw control in arcade mode. flight control seemed to consist mainly of throttle up or down, turn left and right, climb, dive, machine gun 1, machine gun 2, and bomb mode(which takes a minute or so to figure out). The graphics are rather lackluster, though i haven't fiddled with the options in the .ini file to see what might improve them.In dogfight Mode, it seems the AI enemy units only know how to fly in circles around you, making it rather frustrating trying to target them
Overall, after just 20 mins of play, i found it to be rather "meh".
+1 to the uploader for
-bringing more linux titles to KAT
-an excellent OOTB experience(i didn't have to mess with futzing around to make it run)
-saving me the disappointment of buying a game i would have been most unhappy with
