Plot: Harrison Ford plays President James Marshall, who, after special forces capture and jail General Ivan Radek (played by Jurgen Prochnow), a radical Russian military dictator with nuclear weapons capabilities, announces on a trip to Russia that the U.S. will no longer negotiate with terrorist groups, nor will the nation be afraid to stand up to them. Little does he know that a small band of militants who sympathize with Radek have penetrated Air Force One's security system. While on the plane ride home, they attempt to carry out their vendetta against President Marshall and to force him to restore Radek to power, leaving the Vice President (played by Glenn Close) to manage the situation from Washington and wondering who on the plane has survived. Gary Oldman plays the leader of the band of terrorists with William H. Macy, J.A. Preston, Paul Guilfoyle, Dean Stockwell, and Xander Berkeley co-starring.
