Coven è ambientato a New Orleans, teatro di orrori passati e presenti, tra un’epoca dove le streghe venivano perseguitate e i tempi moderni dove vivono nell’ombra della società e cercano di aiutarsi a vicenda per sopravvivere. La congrega è comandata dalla Suprema (Jessica Lange) che ha il compito di guidare le nuove generazioni di streghe verso un uso giusto dei propri poteri. Ma gli orrori del passato e del presente si intrecceranno presto in una spirale di avvenimenti che lasceranno lo spettatore con il fiato sospeso. Nel cast anche il premio Oscar Kathy Bates (Misery) e la nominata all’Oscar Angela Bassett.
