Toying with the idea of converting my whole bluray archive to HEVC. So here is a test Encode. If enough people like and vote i will continue to upload these :P
Now for the details, Most of the HEVC encodes found on this site are NOT encoded direct from the bluray files, they are encoded from a 9 gigabyte 1080p re encode of the orignal bluray files. All my encodes are from the original source files.
Also encoded with the most upto date HEVC binary (1.6+412), some encoders on here are still using ver 1.4!
You might think 6 gig for an hevc encode, why is it so big? Well all my encodes will contain the FULL untouched audio from the bluray. So while the video itself is only 2 gigabytes, the audio track for 7.1 atmos is 3.9 gigabytes.
