In this countdown, Talk Talk is at #39 with "It's My Life." Casey lists the other seven double named acts that have charted in the Rock Era.

The Scorpions debut this week with their first Top 40 hit, "Rock You Like A Hurricane" (at #38).

Weird Al Yankovic is at #32 with his novelty hit, "Eat It." Casey tells about the hottest novelty hit of all time. It was a record about an alien with a very strange appetite, and it reached #1 on only its second week in the Hot 100.

How Ray Met Chrissie: Casey tells the story of how Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders (at #29 with "Show Me") and Ray Davies (leader of The Kinks) became and couple.

Casey gives a fitting tribute to Art Thurston, the Australian distributer of AT40.

A listener wants to know if there has ever been a time in chart history when the top five positions on the Pop Singles Chart were all occupied by women. Casey says it's happened, but only once, and tells about that day the women ruled the roost.

"Here Comes The Rain Again" at #18, is by The Eurythmics. Casey says there are some 60 other song titles that mention rain, and tells about the three that stormed their way to #1: songs by BJ Thomas, Neil Sedaka, and Eddie Rabbitt.

On a previous show Casey said 3 artists have hit the Top 40 with versions of the song "Puppy Love." Disc Jockey, chart buff, and future AT40 team member Rob Durkee writes in to say that one of those songs had the same title, but was actually different from the other two.

The biggest mover in the survey is from the #1 album in the land, "The Footloose Soundtrack." Up 11 notches to #12 is Deniece Williams with, "Let's Hear It For The Boy."

A listener wants to know what song has taken the longest fall out of the top spot. Casey calls the answer to this one a trivia buff's delight. It only happened twice. The first time, it was a fall of 15 notches, and the second time, it happened to the song that replaced the first song at the #$1 spot. Casey delivers the details.
