About The Author Angus Donald was born in 1965 and educated at Marlborough College and Edinburgh University. He has worked as a fruit-picker in Greece, a waiter in New York and as an anthropologist studying magic and witchcraft in Indonesia. For the past 15 years, he has been a journalist in Hong Kong, India, Afghanistan and London. He is married to Mary, with whom he has a baby daughter, and he now writes full time from home in Tonbridge, Kent.  The Reader Mike Rogers was born in Bolton, England and has been an actor since the mid 1980s. He continues to work in film, TV and theatre, having spent several years touring internationally, notably for the English Shakespeare Company for whom he played the title roles of Hamlet and Titus Andronicus. Mike regularly directs and teaches theatre at drama schools. He now lives in West Berkshire and is married with two children.
