Aan het einde van de jaren '70 neemt een homostel een in de steek
gelaten, geestelijk gehandicapt kind in huis. De twee mannen worden
al snel de familie die hij nooit heeft gehad. Maar zodra deze
onconventionele regeling ontdekt wordt door de autoriteiten, moeten
de mannen vechten tegen het rechtssysteem om het kind te kunnen
adopteren.

Storyline

In the late 1970s, when a mentally handicapped teenager is abandoned, a gay couple takes him in and becomes the family he's never had. But once the unconventional living arrangement is discovered by authorities, the men must fight a biased legal system to adopt the child they have come to love as their own.
