A six part drama series produced by Thames Television in 1980, 'The Circle Complex' was the last of eleven different stories in the 'Armchair Thriller' strand, recently released as a DVD box set however the tenth story of the series 'Hide Tide' was omitted from this collection and so remain unavailable. Each of these stories were an excercise in compelling television, showing ordinary people plunged in to extraordinary situations. With it's trademark, razor-sharp cliffhangers and iconic theme tune by Roxy Music's Andy MacKay the series remains a high-watermark of dramatic television.
