About the Author
Arthur Winter is a graduate of Frostburg State University, where he received his BS in chemistry. Winter received his PhD at the University of Maryland in 2007, where his research involved studying extremely short–lived reactive intermediates using laser spectroscopy. He is currently a chemistry professor at Iowa State University.

The book is easy to read, you need some background knowledge because some topics are oversimplified. That's the magic of this book, topics are explain straight away making it easy to picture things as a whole.
