This book is an excellent resource to keep on hand in the office. The pictures are clear and precise and the written instructions easy to follow. Even after over 20 years in practice, I found it informative and will refer to it regularly. I also will share it with students and residents.

This is an outstanding resource for clinicians and educators alike. Clear, concise, point-by-point instructions. Crisp photos and illustrations. And best of all, a compact size and weight that makes it a truly portable reference, with everything I need and nothing I don't. The online videos are the icing on the cake.

This is book and the online videos are exactly as the title states...essential. This should be something that every primary care resident is issued on the first day. It is also and excellent review for those currently in practice. The online videos add so much more to the already crystal clear text and photos. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is involved with procedures in primary care.

Excellent text and video preparation and highly accessible so that the preceptor can review the text and accompanying video just prior to performing the procedure and rereview just after the the procedure. Choices are consistent with a busy full spectrum family physicians procedure profile. Apporaches are well reseached and evidence based. Obstetric component is a very helpful adjunct to ALSO. Thoroughly recommended

This is an excellent resource for primary care providers for all types of procedures. We do so many different office procedures that it's helpful to have a refresher handy in one place. The directions are clear and practical which makes it useful during a busy day in the office. I'll use it often. Karin Madwed, MD

I have been looking for an easily accessible and clear reference to refer to for procedures I don't do everyday. The online procedure videos that come with this book are great!
Thanks

Learning procedures, especially for medical students and residents in primary care settings, can be challenging because coordinating patients who need the procedures and students who need to learn can be difficult. This book addresses this challenge by providing excellent, step-by-step instructions both in hard copy in the book with crystal clear photos and on-line with easy to follow videos. While nothing can replace actually doing the procedure, this book with its videos comes close. Previewing the procedure before trying it builds confidence, and this book offers a convenient and instructive way to do so.
