Audiophile seasonal music-Cantante Domino, Ceremony of Angels; non-cheesy! EAC (Size: 453.44 MB)
DescriptionHere are two audiophile seasonal favorites, both of which are frustratingly difficult to obtain. Cantante Domino: This bona fide audiophile recording is on the Swedish Proprius label, the same folks that gifted us with 'Jazz at the Pawnshop'. This 1976 recording was done with two microphones plugged into a Revox A77 reel recorder and is about as purist as it gets. The ambience of the recording venue is amazing as is the music. Take a listen to this and ask yourself...how much really has recording technology advanced the quality of sound in the last 40 years? The answer sadly is 'not at all'. Ceremony of Angels: Beautiful harp and vocals by the Tokyo Girls Choir. This is a gold-disk release and contains works by Mozart, Brahms, Bach, Britten as is on the Golden String Audiophile label from Japan. This is NOT the sort of music you will be waterboarded with at your local shopping mall, Starbucks and on Target commercials. It really is good enough to be played year-around. Related Torrents
