Audiophile Vinyl Rips Linn Naim 2, EAC re-rip, FLAC (Size: 363.61 MB)
Description
This is a re-rip of an earlier upload. It differs because...
The original rip was an unverified .wav rip that was uploaded to a cloud based backup folder. It was then downloaded and transcoded into FLAC....this was made with EAC and is a verified rip that took well over an hour using the original black CD-R. I named the individual files in EAC, and hope that this metadata is ported over. If it doesn't the track names are 1. St. James Infirmary-Louis Armstrong 2. Laying In the Sunshing-Free 3. Down in Mississippi-Ry Cooder, from the Crossroads ST 4. Has He Got a Friend in Me-Maria Mckee; on of Richard Thompsons finest songs. 5. Battle of Evermore-Led Zeppelin 6. Clouds-Joni Mitchell 7. Keep Me From Blowin' Away-Linda Ronstadt 8. Poetry Man-Phoebe Snow 9. Dear Mr. Fantasy-Traffic 10. Leather and Lace-Stevie Nicks 11. 'Round Midnight-Bobby McFerrin, from the ST of the movie of the same name. 12. Moonlight Feels Right-Starbuck; who needs cowbell when you got marimba! 13. Sharp Dressed Man-ZZ Top 14. Long Train Running-The Doobie Brothers Once this torrent has had some time to run, I will delete the original one. I will also replace the other of my vinyl rip torrents that were also derived from transcoded unverified uploaded/downloaded .wav files with torrents generated from the original CD-R ripped after testing/verification with EAC. It takes about 5x as long, but I can hear the difference. Maybe you will as well. As the torrent name suggests..this was transcriped with a fairly high end Linn/Naim System-the Linn Sondek LP12 table powered with the Naim Armageddon voltage source, a Naim Aro tonearm, the Lyra Helikon SL cartridge into a Supercap powered Naim Prefix K indwelling phono stage. The outputs from the Naim NAC552 preamp were sent into the inputs of a Yamaha CD-recorder and burned onto a Memorex black CD-R. All AC voltages were balanced courtesy of a 300 lb Equitech transformer. Oh...the LP12 sat on a Mana Reference wall mounted turntable stand. Related Torrents
