For normal garmin models load it into a new folder on the microsd card called "Maps" as plain .img files, no subfolders. For vintage garmin models you have to label the folder as "Garmin" and store the img files as gmapsupp.img

By the best is Oztopo v3 or Garmin Topo v4

Change the maps on your Garmin by going into settings>maps>info
