Description Avast, which has over 130 million users worldwide, is the most popular protection in France and Europe. While most publishers stick to free minimalist versions, the Czech adopted the opposite policy by adding shields to each new edition. Version 6 is thus enriched with a sandbox ("sandbox") and new automatic Web protections (see interview CTO of Avast! Ondrej Vlcek). ___________________________ [color=red]A "manual" sandbox most advanced  The paid versions have the same function AutoSandbox the free edition. But they also allow the user to run any application of their choice in the sandbox. In addition, it offers new settings intended to limit the scope of information theft. Beta versions had an option to prevent malware and executed to make a screen capture of the user. The option not working as expected, it was removed from the final version, but could return in an update. That said, Avast! offers protection more robust defense of private data: SafeZone ... New: SafeZone The SafeZone (available only in the paid versions) is not unlike the secure desktop Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. Idea is to get a second independent normal office desk, isolated in your work environment so that nothing can be stolen or come infect. However, if Kaspersky offers a real desktop capable of running applications, Avast! merely for its minimalist version only allows you to browse the Internet through a special version of Google Chrome. But this office Avast! works on both 32-bit in 64-bit, which is not the case that Kaspersky (limited to 32-bit editions). Still, the idea is great and the result works perfectly. In truth, it is even advisable to only browse this secure environment! SafeZone This does not protect against phishing, of course. It isolates the browser from any natural environment. Better still, it has its own secure DNS channel making navigation SafeZone insensitive to pollution and perversions of DNS host.  Improvements and omissions Other minor improvements are emerging. It will be appreciated include the option to return a click to the default settings of the software: a sort of reset button handy if you have fears, because you change the settings, made the protection a little too permeable . The firewall that comes with Avast! Internet Security (paid software) changed little. There is a user friendly, and it is still as effective against operating faults attempts. However, like most firewall market remains relatively circumvented by technical leak (but SafeZone is a response in part adapted). We regret that version 6 does not have a reputation mechanism files as elaborate as those of Norton, Kaspersky or even IE 9, making its operations more automatic sandbox. It is also regrettable that the functions of repair and cleaning infections have made little progress, Avast!
