Avatar - The Alchemist [2004]

AVATAR is one of the oldest and yet most constant romanian metal bands. Since 1996, when Avatar was born, they kept re-inventing theirselves, in order to deliver on the eastern-european metal market the highest qualitative products. They evolved from an technical experimental death metal composed on their first demos to a very powerful melodic death metal. Avatar were signed in the ‘90 with Bestial Records, the biggest romanian metal label at that time.They sold aproximative 3000 copies from their first 2 releases. After 2000 their records were highly reviewed in Germany, USA, Serbia, Check Republic, Italy and France. They were powerful promovated in Europe by their live performances.
They were opening act at the exclusive MEGADETH show in Romania back in 2005 and in 2006 they went in Germany for a new tour where they played for important festivals together with bands like FLESHCRAWL, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, ONKEL TOM, SOUL DEMISE, DEW SCENTED, BELPHEGOR, DARK FORTRESS, DESASTER, DEBAUCHERY.
