"Rock N Roll" is a song by Canadian recording artist Avril Lavigne. It is scheduled to be released as the second single from her upcoming self-titled fifth studio album by Epic Records, set to be released on 27 August 2013.The song was written by Lavigne, David Hodges, Chad Kroeger, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Rickard B. Göransson and Peter Svensson. Peter Svensson, Rickard B. Göransson and Martin Johnson produced the track.On 25 July 2013, Lavigne began shooting the music video for the song, directed by Chris Marrs Piliero. It is to feature actress Danica McKellar,Billy Zane and Sid Wilson (from the band Slipknot).The video was released on 20 August 2013- a week ahead of the release of the single - and might possibly feature a steampunk Tank Girl theme. Avril does a tribute reference to Guns N Roses' video November Rain, doing a guitar-solo as she walks away from the church.
