"The Long Dark" is the fifth episode in the second season of the science-fiction television series Babylon 5. It originally aired on November 30, 1994 (Production Code 205), in the United States. The DVD brochure included with season two teases the episode by saying "A drifting, century-old spacecraft carries a crewperson (Anne-Marie Johnson) in hybernetic sleep. And something else: a phantom-like spaceling that a self-styled prophet (Dwight Schultz) calls a Soldier of Darkness."
