Als een archeoloog een gestolen relikwie mee neemt naar ruimtestation Babylon 5,
brengt hij iedereen in gevaar. De Soul Hunters, een onsterfelijk ras dat zielen
steelt en voor altijd gevangen houdt, belegert de afgelegen buitenpost. Babylon 5
belandt daarmee tussen twee vuren: aan de ene kant de Soul Hunters en aan de
andere kant de vertoornde zielen die aan hun heersers ontsnapt zijn. Een
oplossing lijkt onmogelijk.
