Based on a true story. East Timor, 1975. While Indonesia invades the country, five Australian journalists disappear without trace, a
few weeks later a foreign correspondent Roger East by the charismatic rebel Jose Ramos-Horta invited to the situation of the country
and people to describe. By foreign pressure, the demand for independence for East Timor bigger and creates a friendship between
Ramos-Horta and East. But the first half while the president is terrible events concerning journalists discovered.
