Description
Source: 1993 CD
By ScottE After the Replacements broke up in 1991, Tommy Stinson the bass player formed a nice little rock 'n roll band called Bash And Pop. Released in 1993 when Tommy was just 26 years old, this album has such classic's as "Never Aim To Please", which should of been a big radio hit, just a tremendous rocker. "Loose Ends","Fast and Hard", which have a Faces' feel to these songs. The title track "Friday Night (Is Killing Me)", you can hear it in his voice and I can remember those friday nights! This song should of been a big hit, a very melodic tune. This album was produced by the late Don Smith who did the early Cracker albums. They released a single on the Clerks soundtrack in 1994 called "Making Me Sick", before breaking up in late '94. If your fan of The Replacements and if you like 70's rock get this little jewel, not bad for the price. Sharing Widget |
