Batman - Thrillkiller(complete with Thrillkiller 62)(1997)

This is an Elseworlds story set in an alternate 1962. It's dark, it's violent, and it's unexpected. Beautifully drawn by Dan Brereton and well written by Howard Chaykin.
Batgirl and Robin fight a female Joker in the 1960's, while detective Bruce Wayne becomes the Batman after Robin's death.
