How do you patch this so you can buy things?

There's some patch floating around, but it needs a survey to access the download... and I, for one, am not doing it.

I think that one I referred to is just some survey scam, as I can't find any Steamworks crack for this -- it needs to be connected to Steam to enable unlocking of character / items.

Junkware until someone cracks the game properly.
